so when it procs, you get more rage from the extra hits. (no internal cooldown)įor warriors and specifically horde warriors, its a nice weapon to have as it goes well with windfury and somewhat difficult to replace based on the fact that for warriors more white hits = more rage = more ability uses. the extra swings can proc it again though. but i don't think windfury can proc from the extra swings (its one or the other). It can proc multiple times in a row, it does seem to also be able to proc from windfury. (All information based on testing done in WoW version 1.11.2)Ĭomment by HeathieI got this at 55 in the classic re-release 2nd Emperor run I did (before dire maul opened) its a bit slow for tanking without flurry from fury. But certainly let everyone interested roll for it, as it really is a once in a lifetime drop. Technically it probably gives the largest boost to Warriors, as the additional attacks also give them rage, with which they can do yet more damage/get more threat. It is of course an amazing weapon for Shaman, Rogues, Warriors and Paladins. I'm fairly sure it can proc off of extra attacks caused by Hand of Justice, but don't have a definte screenshot of it happening, as it's hard to track what hit is causing what when you're dual wielding with Flurry up >:) All of the attacks shown occured at once (one attack is from my offhand weapon) the level 54 mob ended up dying before Charge Stun had worn off once HS + Bloodthirst had landed, and I'm wearing only sub-56 blues. The Chance on Hit is able to proc off of the extra attacks it causes, so you can end up with a great number of attacks all at once (although this is extremely rare). ![]() I'm Alliance, so have been unable to test if it would allow (very limited) cross-faction communication. Unless you happen to be a Dwarf, you cannot understand what you say, but other Dwarvern characters can understand it. For 10 seconds after gaining the two extra attacks, your character is forced to speak Dwarvish, but only in /say and /yell (so you can still communicate normally to your party or raid). Wish me luck, and if your on Bonechewer, pst Gally for some runs DĬomment by AllakhazamAbout a 5% proc rate seems accurate from my use of it for the past couple of days, although I've not properly tested it yet. you've all seen people put crusader on broomsticks, and that's good for a chuckle, but I truely believe that in the right hands, this hammer could truly top DPS. I know that my searching won't be in vain, and I hope that people won't dismiss this hammer as old content. While it doesn't have sword spec (/cry) I am keen to try out mace spec. Not to mention - Ironfoe procs 2 extra hits, meaning twice as much chance as Thrash Blade to re-proc. The old trick was to cram as many hits into Felstriker's 3 second crit-hit window as possible (hence why Thrash Blade still has value), and I have been dying to see how Ironfoe would do so. ![]() With 4/8 darkmantle (+35 energy procs) I am able to maintain high energy which I can then dump into sinister strikes when Felstriker procs. I am a rogue with Felstriker at the moment, and the foe is the second piece to my weapon set. The hammer has never dropped, and although I'd like to have it, I am kinda glad, because the difficulty in finding it is what gives the hammer value. I have been farming Ironfoe for the past 6 months, and have done at least 350 runs of BRD - at first the honest way - then down to 20 minute stealth runs with druids.
